Packaging came a little dinged up(not the amazon box, but the product packaging). The mic and accessories were tightly packed in foam inserts. None of the components were damaged. There was an instruction booklet included, but left a lot to be desired.Installation was pretty easy and straight forward. Attach stand base to the desk, insert stand and position as needed and tighten. One thing to note, the portion of the stand that inserts into the base is hollow and not perfectly round. It appears to be be rolled and may lose shape if over tightened. Attaching the mic and filter was easy and both provided a secure fit. The USB cord is plenty long to have the mic position just about anywhere on a standard size desk. The sound quality is great. I had an opportunity to record a few test segments and playback was crisp and clear. I also had a chance to spend 6 hours on a conference line using MS teams and participants had commented that my audio was exceptionally clear and clean. This is a great entry level mic setup for anyone looking to start a pod/vid cast or wanting exceptional clarity for conference calls.Overall build quality could be better, but the results at this price point outweigh that.Packaging: 3Quality/build: 3Function: 4Results/use: 4Value: 4
Needed to add a mic and was looking for something with a shock mount, pop filter and boom. This USB mic was perfect! I recorded an audio comparison between my phone (Note 9) and the Mic. I would recommend this mic.
Bought this set to make some YouTube videos and it didn't disappoint me. It has really everything for a really low price, even it comes with pop filter and shock mount. The stand is very well balanced for the weight of the mic and I didn't have to adjust. Sensitivity of the mic is a bit low and cannot be adjusted, but still works very well for me. I can easily correct the sound level in my video editor and the good thing is that the mic quality is very good, hence there is no problem with boosting the audio level - I don't have to clean audio after that. I've compared with my friend's $150 mic stand and it's pretty much the same regarding functions (up, down. left, right, circling). What I extremely like is, that the USB cable is not attached to the mic and can be replaced in case of a problem. It's a huge advantage because this kind of stand tends to pull on the USB cable when somebody moves it to fast or too far.The clamp to mount it to the table is very flexible and I guess it would fit almost everywhere. In my case it was really tricky and still fit perfectly. All parts seem to be quite sturdy and I expect it to last quite a while. Pretty happy with it.
