The Fan works as advertised and I Like it, But there is an interesting feature that I cannot explain. The fan came with two 2200mAH (8.14wH) batteries, the first thing I did was to replace them with a 9800mAH(38.9wH) batteries (THIS WAS A MISTAKE), with the larger capacity battery the unit ran for only 31/2 hours and then quit, I checked the batteries and they had plenty of charge left in them but would not run the fan. When I replaced them with the original that came with the fan the fan ran for 9 straight hours on the FAST speed. Like I said I cannot explain it, but DO NOT REPLACE THE BATTERIES use the ones that come with it.
This camping fan is really small but boy can it put out a breeze! Doubt if I ever use the high speed at night unless it's 90-100 deg. On low and medium speed it is quiet. High speed noisy but not loud. The lights are very good which surprised me. The main reason I got the REENUO 4400mAh camping fan was the replaceable rechargeable batteries. Some others they are built in and you cannot change out the batteries for fresh ones you have to charge it. Very inconvenient if your battery dies and you need to wait 3 hrs. to charge. I have a lot of these batteries that I use with my E cig. Knowing these can take some time to charge and camping for a week or more I have plenty of batteries to last a long time. My suggestion purchase extra batteries and you will be blowing in the wind all week long. You can also use a power bank to run the fan. But if you are hanging the fan in the tent without a mesh loft you better bring a very long cord.
I bought this fan to use in my Hub shack for ice fishing. When it's running you can feel the heat circulating really nicely. The light provided is enough to not trip over anything inside the shack, but for my purposes I use other lights as well. It's compact enough to fit into my large lunch box to take it with me, and I don't hit my head of it when walking through the shack. Comes with a micro USB cord, but no wall adapter... most people have a few of these laying around though. The hanging hook is plenty big for the poles on hub shacks, but if you have a flip over style, it will not fit directly around the larger poles. I'm not sure on how long this unit will last in the cooler weather as I've never ran it until dead. However, I had it running for 6 hours continuously on medium speed (no light) and it did not seem to slow down one bit. Using this fan does help with condensation inside the shack as well and it is much less expensive than the brand name ones (you also don't have to keep replacing batteries when they're dead). Hope this helps!
