Simpler is often better, and if you prefer going light and moving fast in the woods, mountains and beyond, the Talon 33 is the pack for you. 33L of capacity is perfect for committing day hikes and lightweight overnight trips. Ventilated and comfortable, the BioStretch harness and continuous wrap hipbelt combine to create an incredibly stable carry system that hugs your body so you can stay balanced on the trail, ridge or peak. We scratched our heads and updated our AirScape backpanel to use less material and glue while making it more breathable to keep you cool on hot days. When uphills turn technical, our Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole carry system keeps your hands free for upward movement. Zippered hipbelts, side stretch mesh pockets with dual access, a harness pocket, and top-lid storage provide all the organization you need.
This was the single most important piece of equipment I had on the Inca trail trek in Peru. Pack fit me perfectly. Large size, I am 6 feet,170. It was the perfect size. Any smaller would have been too small, any bigger, unnecessary. This was extremely comfortable, I had zero problems with the pack. It performed perfectly.
I own three Osprey packs. I will always stand by their brand. They are the most comfortable packs you'll ever own. Everything about this pack, the size, the weight, the rigidity, is a perfect mid point between a light day pack and a heavier duty pack with a frame. Nice size for a backpacking trip in another country, or a two night trip to the mountains. Also makes a great school bag. I cut a piece of a foam floor tile to give the bottom of the pack some more body and protect it from the corners of the textbooks. Holds my laptop and books nicely, and keeps the weight off my shoulders. Highly recommend. Very versatile size.
After tons of research I went with this for a light backpacking option, and Im glad I did, very high quality and comfortable, adjustable, and a good amount of options for storage. Took this for an overnight trip on the AT with everything I needed with room to spare. Depending on your gear I bet it would suffice for a longer trip. I know this pack will survive many more adventures, A+
