Nintendo Pokémon X & Y Limited Edition 3 DS XL (Red)
90% Larger Screen: 4.88-inch stereoscopic screen, compared with a 3.53-inch screen in the regular 3DS console, nearly double the size The lower touch-panel screen will also get a bump to 4.18 inches from 3 inches Longer battery life: Outperforms the original Nintendo 3DS. Estimated battery life is 3.5 to 6.5 hours Bundled with a 4 GB SD card, which is great for downloading content from the Nintendo eShop. Limited Pokemon X&Y Red Edition includes a red Nintendo 3DS XL system featuring Pokemon cover art, an AC adapter, a Nintendo 3DS XL stylus, six AR cards, a 4GB Secure Digital memory card and a Lithium-Ion battery pack.
The item was more less everything I expected it to be. The Gloss on the outside was nice and the size wasn't to big; actually is a improvement from the normal size of a DS. The 3D effect for anyone new to it; is very beautiful to look at while playing, but is however more dependent on the game than anything as its from their end the level of 3D within the game itself ( Some do it better than others ). Only issue is sometimes finding the right angle to view the game from on the top screen to get the best effect; without causing you to strain your eyes. The battery life is reasonable, long as your not looking to play it for 8 hours at a time...you should be golden. The sound I wish was alittle louder on the handheld but nothing too much to gripe about I suppose ( never had any issues with the battery playing; 2 hours here..2 there, etc ). Remember to get something to whip the bottom touch screen with as it can attract finger prints like crazy if your not using the stylus to interact with things.Overall, its a very nice item and can't say I have any real complaints about it. The pokemon designs on the outside is rather nice as well; beats a plain color any day.
Came with only some minor scratches on the right, not affecting the overall look of the 3DS. The console runs smoothly and there was an sd card already inserted. The package arrived in an envelope with bubble wrap, so no parts were damaged. The 3DS came with a charger and stylus as described. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who want a cheaper deal for a limited edition console.
No, this does not come with the Pokemon X or Pokemon Y game, but if you studied the product enough, you would know that. I am a hardcore Pokemon fan and have been for years. This is a limited addition collectable so it is obviously going to be more money than a normal 3DS XL, and regular 3DS XLs are about $200 anyway and I got my limited edition 3DS XL for about $230, which in my mind is a fantastic deal. With all these things can do, they're not that much money in my opinion, but I know that $230 is still a lot of money. This is a beautiful gaming system and I recommend it for all hardcore Pokemon fans. I am extremely happy I finally got mine because it is a collectable.Just in case you're wondering, yes, it comes with it's own charger but 3DS' use the same charger as a DSi/DSi XL so I haven't used mine at all.
